We are so glad you are here and ready to start your vacation.  Here are details and great tips so you can quickly get settled in at the Aquarius Retreat.  I created a few quick search words.  Click on the button and it will do a quick direct.

When returning back to the home and using the GPS please make sure you use the front gate address.  There is an owner gate near the home and if you use the house address then it will take you to that owner gate.  Then you will be stuck!

SAUNA

​

Sauna Heat is included on the sauna for your rental.  When using it please make sure you turn the dial located on the wall adjacent to the spa.  Completely turn the dial until you can not turn anymore to maximize the heat of 102 degrees.  The waterfall  from the sauna from the pool will slowly pull back then the jets will turn on and it will start to warm up.  It takes a little bit to get started so please be patient. I usually recommend turning it on...go do something and come back.

If you paid for pool heat for both properties it will be set to 85 degrees.  When using the sauna, the heater will direct its energy to the sauna.  If you run the sauna the majority of the day then the pool will lose some of its heat.  It won't be drastic but we feel its important you are aware.  Also if temperatures outside are below 55 degrees the heating system will not operate at its full capacity.  Its a safety measure that triggers the system to not over work during freezing temps.

If anything goes wrong with the pool like its making a weird noise or the waterfall isn't flowing from the sauna to the pool please call me or shoot a quick text. 

​

Pool towels are located in laundry room in the garage.

ENTERING THE GATE

​

Your name along with everyone in your party has been uploaded in our community system.  As you are greeted by the front gate, they will confirm your reservation in the system along with a picture ID. They will then give you a parking pass which will be used during the duration of your vacation so you can have easy access in and out of the community.  

Please note...there is a owners gate near this home.  Unfortunately, you will not be able to enter or exit the community through that gate.  Just wanted to save you time on turning around.

Once you are through the gates turn right and park in the Welcome Center.  You will be greeted by our lovely staff.  There you will get your pool bracelets, welcome packet and take a quick tour of the center.

PARKING

Only 3 cars are allowed for the villa. Parking is not permitted on the street at all times and the car will be towed plus the home will be fined. Make sure you park on the driveway and do not block the street.  If you have 3 cars some guest will park the 2 and squeeze the 3rd car perpendicular to the other 2 cars.

When staying at the Pisces Paradise Home there is additional parking down the street.

Access The Home

You will have a 4 digit code emailed to you day of your arrival.  Usually it is the last 4 digits of your cell phone.   This number will expire at 10 am on your departure.

Netflix

TV

All rooms (minus the kids bunk room) has a TV and 2 remotes.  When using the TV use the Bluestream remote.  If you are needing to change the source then use the Samsung TV remote.  All remotes are located in the closets on the dresser.  

Note Aquarius Retreat: Family Room TV has the DVD player and Wii Console connected.  Use the Samsung TV remote to toggle between each by clicking on SOURCE.

Here is the line up:

HDMI 2/ VCR is Bluestream Cable, also access to Netflix. 

HDMI - Blueray DVD player (I know sounds like it should be switched but it worked this way only). 

AV1 - Wii Console.  

We have over 100 DVD's stocked in the home...have fun and enjoy!

NETFLIX  All TV's have it.  Just log into your account and make sure you log out. How to log out.  Takes a rocket scientist sometimes to figure out the simple things.  Here are the steps on how to log out and log into your account. 

     1. Open Netlfix and select any of the profiles. 

     2. Once it loads press the LEFT button on the remote. A sidebar menu will opne

     3. Scroll down to the bottom and click GET HELP

     4. On the page that opens, scroll down to the bottom and select SIGN OUT

     5. Confirm you want to sign out...then you will get back to the GET STARTED screen.

Internet

We have the fastest speed at 1000 mbps

Internet details are located on the sign on the TV console in the main living space.

Garbage

Garbage is picked up everyday except Wednesdays and major holidays.  Just place it in the bench container outside of the front door. 

​

Light Switches

All bedrooms have a fan with a light kit that is operated by the remote. There are pendant lights located in the Palm and Paradise Suite that can switched on and off directly on the light plate.  

​

There are a set of light switches on the wall of the triple slider.  They are labeled but the pool light switch is only located in that location.  To turn on the fan and light on the lanai, go to the double slider exiting the dining area.  You will see a remote.  Make sure the switch is turned on then you can operate by using the remote. 

​

The garage has multiple switches and lights.  You would need to turn them on individual but make sure you turn them off when you leave. The laundry room is located in the garage and has its own switch as well. 

​

Towels

The home comes with bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes.  

Pool towels are located in laundry room in the garage. 

​

Prior to Arrival: Basic Neccessities

This home is not equipped with the everyday products like paper towels, etc.  Here is a quick check list that will help you prior to your arrival.  Many guest leave behind items so there can be some extra soaps etc.

1. Paper towels

2. Toilet Paper 

3. Dish Soap

4. Dishwasher pods

5. Cleaning spray for counters if you are cooking

6. Clothing cleaner if you plan to do laundry

7. Personal products like shampoo, etc.

Amazon or instacart is a great resource to get those items over to you quickly  All can be delivered to the home!

Pool

Friends Visits

We understand the last minute friends in town...just note, we have a max capacity of 10 people allowed in this home.  This is a fire code requirement.  If for some reason a friend wants to stop by to say hi please reach out to me directly and we can talk about providing them a day pass if you are below the current capacity.  Its our goal to make this easy on you but our priority is the safety of our guest and the protection of this home.

Kitchen

Please make sure you clean out the fridge and freezer.  Additional cleaning by our crew can result in additional cleaning charges.  There might be some left over pantry items from a previous guest or from us.  We do not stock the cabinets with cooking items  but believe in paying it forward so each guest is welcome to leave behind spices, canned foods, or other pantry shelf items.  Please help yourself to what is available and feel free to leave behind some of your favorite items. Mi Casa...Su Casa!

There are a ton of board games...if there are missing pieces we apologize but let us know so we can replace them in the future.  Thanks!

Checking Out

1. Please leave the home the same as the day you arrived.  We request you complete a light cleaning so our cleaners can come in a do a deep cleaning before the next guest.    

2. Make sure you collect all of your belongings including your phone chargers or that special pillow you may have brought with you.  

3. Please hang all used towels and wash cloths around the shower or on the hooks behind the doors. Or if you have time you can start washing the towels.  It will allow our team to get a head start.  You can leave the linens on the bed...we will take care of that for you!

4. Turn off all lights, fans and tv's

5. Lock all doors and shut the blinds. 

6. Clean out the fridge and place the garbage outside in the bench container.  Its located directly outside of the front door. If you have an excess of food let me know and I can possibly have it scheduled to be picked up and donated to the local food pantry.
